Call of Duty Black Ops Surpasses Modern Warfare 2 Pre Orders

Activision's Call of Duty Franchise is one that is yearly updated between Infinity Ward, Treyarch & Sledgehammer Games. After Infinity Ward's oversuccessful FPS - Modern Warfare 2, the standard for video games has been raised; but Call of Duty next entry Black Ops has already achieved more pre-orders than MW2. Despite higher pre-orders, Black Ops is only expected to sell 12 million copies over the christmas period, whereas MW2 sold 16 million copies in the christmas period. Black Ops is slated for a worldwide release 9th November 2010.
